Pricless Jewellery
These little bits of jewellery I've recently added to my collection really are priceless (well almost!)
I don't often trust myself with expensive jewellery as its likely that I will loose it or break it..so I often opt for high street/cheaper jewellery so I don't feel too bad when it goes wrong. Anyway I found these 3 necklaces in Primark all £2/£3 - which quite frankly you can't really go wrong with!

They haven't broken as of yet, which is always a plus.. but I guess only time (or a big night out) will tell..
I'm especially a fan of the diamond cross...a bit of jewellery bling can never hurt anyone as long as it's worn in the right way. No trackies and trainers please.

Some Browsing Beauties for SS13
If I had an enormous amount of cash at hand, and plenty of occasions to wear these little beauties then ASOS and Nelly.com would be in for a lot of business. A lot of torturing has occurred this week as I've sat and browsed at lots and lots of dresses. I think I've become sick of wooly jumpers and I'm so ready for SS13 fashion.. So here is a few of my favourite few dresses this week, the question is which one is going to be lucky and earn a spot in my wardrobe??
If ONLY one had the body for this - Sheer panels, white - think white vs sports luxe, ooo so on trend! (ASOS)
Leather & Snakeskin, a very naughty option, who cares if leather was an AW12 trend? It says cold here all summer anyway.. (Nelly)
Canary Yellow - a big colour for this season, perfect for spring with boots or for your summer holiday. Love it! (Nelly)
This is such a good bargain from ASOS with such an interesting print and a gorgeous dress shape - with the right accessories, this could go far I think..
Yes I am definitely getting excited for summer as here comes the festival dresses.. We have a tie dye one above and a knitted style one below.
(Both from ASOS)
Monochrome, Geometric Prints, the 60s - you are SS13!
Ahh don't forget those metallics, again a huge trend this season, I love the gold leather look panel on the bottom of this dress. so fun!
I have a slight weakness for polka dots, and this dress makes spots sexy - I'd wear it with a big long necklace and some boots.
The print on this dress is different.. and again monochromes and a 60s shift - what is not to like? (ASOS)
White was massive for SS13, and with a pop of bright colour? This gorgeous little dress that can be dressed up or down for many occasions! (Nelly.com)
This dress is perhaps a little wintery considering my excitement for summer dresses, bare legs and festivals.. however with a big statement necklace and some dark lips, this dress won't look over the top or tacky (which sequins can quite often do) but chic chic chic.. Well this is what I hope when it gets ordered and arrives!

Patent Peach & Pink
Despite the influx of snow and winter weather these last few days, there was no stopping me investing in some summer sales bargains this afternoon shopping in London...
Firstly these sunglasses - perhaps very out of season, but they were a bargain of £5.99 so I couldn't refuse.. And these shoes were only £9.99 ( both from Zara) so if I wear them once I will totally not feel guilty. I always find something really elegant and cute about peep toe sling backs, and especially when they are in this patent peach colour - so cute! Wear them with pastels for a spring summer ice cream colours style or wear them with some baggy trousers and a shirt for a sports luxe or more tailored look.. Actually I don't think I will be wearing these just once!

nightskylights skirt
I love this skirt it reminds me of a city at night with bright lights everywhere.. Gives me a feeling that if I wear it...I'm going to have a fun and frivolous night! And well, my work girls night was certainly eventful, lets just say my Bambi on ice came out to play after schnapps and vodka lemon shots and just a FEW too many bottle of wine and prosecco! Any more than that I cannot tell you... not because I don't remember, noooo...just because what else happened..is a secret...
It's safe to say I was escorted home (sort of) and the following day at work was a tough one, but filled with giggles of 'some memorable' moments!

I wore it with a grey t-shirt (which I actually wore inside out and back-to-front to suit the look I wanted, versatile hey?!), black tights and my leather jacket. And of course a statement necklace to bring out those bright colours in the skirt.

Take one... Leather Skirt
One of my favourite buys recently has been my leather skirt (H&M £19.99) not only because it is a staple as leather is everywhere this season but also because leather has turned into a little obsession of mine. Not only this, but the skirt also just seems to work with everything - making it very versatile. It won't sit in your wardrobe unworn and you're money becomes well spent. The other thing I love about leather is that it can make an outfit more interesting and chic as it adds in another fabulous texture that steers way from the usual jersey, denim and wool for winter!
So here are two ways I like to wear my leather skirt for the day and for the evening..
To take your leather skirt for a drink down the pub, maybe a day Christmas shopping, or even a causal day at the office by wearing a striped top like this one from New Look. A stripey top is a wardrobe must have, making nearly anything look chic (which probably why the French wear them so much!) Wear black tights or even some dark red/oxblood coloured ones for more colour. Then finish off with an studded ankle boot, a statement necklace and a bag to throw over your shoulder. The studs and spikes on the ankle boots and necklace make it a more modern and on trend look. Easy.
Now it's time to fan that skirt up a little bit - a nice bralet would look great and will emphasise that small waist. I love this white crochet one from Topshop as it takes the edge off the tough biker leather skirt. Or maybe try something plainer, a coloured body and add in a big statement belt such as this vintage rose one. Finish off with a clutch and some heels for the evening. PERFECT.

Baroque for the festive season
The Christmas feeling is starting to kick in and this only means one thing –parties! As the nights get darker the AW trends are literally glistening before our eyes, as this festive season turns towards the gothic baroque trend. For those festive fashionistas, this is the trend that will be heavily featuring in your AW12 party wardrobe, and with so many events on the horizon then we’ve got to ensure we’ve got enough to wear to look fabulous as always.

Think lace, think sequins, think vintage renaissance patterns, think metallics.. add in some pearls, jewels, beading, and embroidery and a touch of velvet or silk for a real sultry decadence feeling.. Imagine Queen Elizabeth I’s wardrobe…just a bit more modern and you can see the idea – but how to pull this off through the high street?
I LOVE this goregous ASOS
Embellished Jacket £120.00 and the pattern on the shoulders is perfect for the baroque trend. If you’re going to go for something like this then
I would look for something vintage as there loads of things like this around,
and then they’ll be one off pieces, however if you’ve not got the time to go
trawling through the shops then here you go! Perfect to glam up some
simple trousers or top, or with a lace dress for a gothic embellished party
look like this one from Zara £69.99.
Can't face the look head to toe then try something a little more toned down - The earrings at the beginning would be a fabulous little addition to an evening outfit (River Island), or perhaps try the belt from Zara for only £19.99 with this velvet pruple and crochet dress which adds a decadant winter feel by Coco's Fortune at Topshop £45. Alternatively take this spectacular bag from ASOS with you, (who would have thought it I know!) for only £45.00. I bet it will last you a lifetime (or at least a few seasons) and it will certainly add an edge to your outfit. However if you want to add some real excitment to a simple outfit, definitley try this headband from River Island £28.00, swarming with jewels, metallics and amazing detail - over the top? No!
Mix and match some of these fabulous items for an evening of baroque glamour - I love the fringe top from Topshop £36.00, it can add some excitement from the usual boring black top and its perfect to dress up or down. My other favorite is the black sequined skirt from Zara £79.99 - the pattern is amazing and has a huge baroque-esq theme.
Leggings, Topshop £28.00
Lace Peplum Corset, Topshop £36.00
Cream Embellished Shorts, River Island £45.00
Cream lace top, H&M £19.99
Leggings, Topshop £28.00
Lace Peplum Corset, Topshop £36.00
Cream Embellished Shorts, River Island £45.00
Cream lace top, H&M £19.99
Now go and spend spend spend as those christmas parties are approaching fast... And there's always time to finish off the christmas shopping on the 24th December!

Paisley Dress
It could seem that I've adopted a little obsession for black and white paisley prints after my trousers and now this... But oh well, who doesn't love a little print in a great colour combination? I fell in love with this dress the minute I saw it, I love the shift style of the dress and of course the print.. A little treat to myself for finishing uni which I thought was a very valid reason to purchase, no?

Floral Playsuit
Now I've had this for a while now, but just haven't let it appear on the blog yet.. It's nothing too fancy or extravagant, but I love the floral print and the pale minty green colour and to be honest I've worn it a lot...for festivals with boots and a parka, nights out with heels, belt and a bag, sunny days with sunglasses or chilly days with a jumper over the top!

Tie Dye Maxi
Bought this amazing maxi dress just before I went away, I love the tie dye esq print on it and the way it clings to ones figure.. (although one just needs to ensure not too much is eaten before its worn, it's definitely a skinny day dress!) I wore it to go shopping with a friend with sandals and a grey jumper over the top, however for evening I wore it with my big chunky platforms and a necklace!
